ACT Up - ACT Test Prep and Tutoring App Reviews

Probably the best and easiest way to study for the ACT and not time consuming.

It has really great reviews on the science, math, reading, and English, helped me out a lot.

I thought this app was very helpful, but then I took a math practice test and the answers to 3 of the 5 questions were wrong! I had three other people review my answers and we all got something different than what the correct answer was listed as. Also, the step by step explanations for all three questions had incorrect information/answers, so the issue is truly with the methodology of the app. Do not use this as ACT prep because it will set you up to fail!!

The solution writers need some tutoring themselves. I paid 19.99 for the membership because I am trying to exhaustively prepare. I took a 5-question test and 4 of their solutions were completely flawed. I have checked my solutions with 2 math teachers, I am positive they are right. For 2 problems, the logic was totally wrong (it said that the slope of a line flipped over the y-axis is perpendicular to the original, this is only true for special cases!). For another, they said that 225000/32500 was 50. It is 6.9, check this if you must. Overall, Im very disappointed. I emailed them the errors but I cant believe that they would be so incorrect in the first place. Dont waste your time or your money, or let them teach you bizarre math.

I love it but I feel we should be able to have more questions.

Solid app with integrated tutoring.

Before I had this app, I took the ACT and got a 27. Then I downloaded this app, and three months later, I got a 31. This was literally the only study tool I used... Definitely the best ACT prep around.
